Speedy delivery
I didnt get to ride the bike too much since I installed the cdi controller , but there is a noticeable improvement.
The throttle is snappier, more responsive.
There is an increase in mid rpm range power.
Top end increase as well, with the limiter being removed.
Its not crazy, but there is for sure a noticeable improvement after installing the mikes cdi controller. Its definitely a good upgrade for the money.
Mike's CDI upgrades were designed from the ground up using modern technology. They include a higher capacity capacitor system for more powerful charge sent to the coil. These are full digital systems with 12-14 maps (mapped points), where stock is only 4 and analogue. Below are some listings for the system enhancements.
